Working for more then twenty years in photography have filled my life with awesome rewarding experiences and great friendships. The paths that I have chosen are not just coincidence but a journey of self realization in this game we call life.
I was born in Mallorca and grew up in Puerto Rico and U.S.A. Growing up in the Caribbean is so hot that I was always in the water; surfing, sailing, fishing, and snorkling.
From 1991 to 1997, I was a photographer assistant in New York, working with some of the best photographers in the world. During those years times where changing as we entered the digital revolution. Mixing some of the old technics with the new digital technics was an exciting challenge. The computer replaced the dark room and revolutionized the printing industry. New forms of communication and information became available when the internet went public.
In 1996, I built my webpage with the dream of escaping the rat race in New York so that I could live and work in a place were I could keep on surfing. I don't conform to the 'shoulds' in this socially conditioned rollercoaster we call life, or buy into people's fear-based perceptions. I am an individual and do what makes me happy without fear or guilt. As long as you have love and respect for yourself and others, life is magic..... and my photos are proof of that.
I shoot with digital cameras and use a computer for my darkroom. Whenever a client is not present, I create an internet photo album for the production in progress, similar to my web page. And with e-mails and calls, we stay in touch for plans and decision making across the miles. This way, I´m able to work while travelling around the world.
